Senior / Staff Mobile SDK Engineer (iOS / Android)

YoloPrice is an embeddable e-commerce platform integrated into third-party mobile applications, owning a critical part of the product stack — search, networking, synchronization, and data infrastructure.

We build a mobile SDK on Kotlin Multiplatform as a core product.

  • It’s a cross-platform infrastructure layer embedded into our clients’ iOS and Android applications, handling networking, data pipelines, synchronization, caching, and business logic through APIs and realtime gRPC streams.

    The SDK is expected to stay fast, resilient, scalable, and invisible to the end user — engineered as a production-grade mobile system with strong focus on performance, concurrency, reliability, and developer experience.

  • We’re Hiring:

    An engineer who cares more about building scalable systems than polishing UI.
    Someone who wants to own an SDK as a real engineering product — driving its architecture, API design, performance, reliability, developer experience, testing strategy, observability, and adoption metrics end-to-end.

  • You’ll Own

    • Design and evolve the architecture of a production-grade mobile SDK used inside third-party applications;
    • Build infrastructure for networking, caching, synchronization, data processing, and business logic;
    • Work deeply with WebView integrations and hybrid runtime flows;
    • Develop realtime streaming infrastructure with gRPC: persistent connections, reconnect strategies, backpressure handling;
    • Build resilient networking layers: retry policies, throttling, SSL pinning, unstable network recovery;
    • Design low-latency asynchronous pipelines using Kotlin Coroutines / Flow and Swift Concurrency;
    • Develop scalable data layers: pagination, offline-first flows, background synchronization;
    • Optimize SDK performance, stability, and observability across diverse client integrations.

  • What Matters:

    • Experience building SDKs, libraries, platform layers, or complex mobile infrastructure modules;
    • Strong engineering background in Kotlin and/or Swift;
    • Deep understanding of concurrency and asynchronous systems;
    • Experience building data-heavy mobile clients: caching, synchronization, consistency models;
    • Production experience designing resilient networking layers;
    • Strong systems thinking and architectural ownership mindset.

  • Nice to Have

    • Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP);
    • Search / ranking systems experience;
    • High-scale consumer product experience;
    • Performance profiling and optimization expertise.

  • Current Stack

    • Kotlin, Swift, KMP, gRPC, SQLDelight, OkHttp, Firebase.
    • SDK with realtime gRPC infrastructure;
    • Production backend with search and ranking algorithms;
    • 300+ integrated stores and marketplaces;
    • iOS and Android applications;
